Manard "Busta" Brown is a native of San Francisco, an award winning radio and television personality, distinguished lecturer and community leader. In January of 2004 he became part of the 97.1 WQMG family. He is the host of the "Afternoon Thang with Busta Brown" Monday -Friday from 3pm to 8pm.
From 1996 - 2003 he hosted The Busta Brown All-Star Morning Show on WJMH-102 Jamz.
He also hosted and executive produced The Busta Brown Show, televised weekly on WTWB-20.
Previously he hosted Black College Sports Today, a nationally syndicated program, which aired on Black Entertainment Television (BET) and is now broadcasted on the MBC television network.
In his personal time, he dedicates countless hours to youth in the community providing them with a positive role model, spiritual mentor and civic advisor. In 2002, he co-founded a non-profit organization "The Next Level of the Triad", inspiring youth ages 12-18 to achieve success on the next level spiritually, intellectually, and academically.
