Well the old adage- Government by the people, for the people seems to have been thrown out the window like an old pot of over-cooked grits! I mean really...our nation is on the verge of economic disaster, not to mention being credit down-graded, and if the nation's debt ceiling isn't raised by August 2nd, our ALREADY slumping economy could get worse! WHY IS THIS?!?!? Now granted we sometimes agree to disagree on issues of importance, but when it comes to the very livelihood of each citizen being greatly affected by what Democrats and Republicans are in constant battle as to who has the best plan for raising the debt ceiling...we're ALL right smack dab in the middle of a never-ending war of words that is absolutely producing NO results!! Where will it lead US?...hopefully closer to putting our REAL faith in a higher power who promises His Kingdom will never be brought to ruin. And the Kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these (earthly) kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite....Daniel 2:44 New World Translation. MIS-MANAGEMENT OF FUNDS

Good afternoon, The government will always be broke because no one wants to make a change! I spent 20 years in the US Marines Corps and from the first day I had to pick up supplies for our unit until naow we waste money. As long as we have that theory in place "use it or lose it" we will never save. Just thing 32 years ago until now if you were told that you have a $1.2 million dollar budget and if you don't spend it you will lose it and if you lose it no promotion, no promotion no chance of a career in the military. Well, we spent it and wasted part of it. Each year you would get 3-6% increase on your budget for cost of inflation. Well, that was more money wasted! Sadly it happens at all levels of the government and no one seems to know why. Have a great day! Mike

QUESTION OF THE DAY

Good afternoon, Also, I travel alot and miss most of your question of the day, but I think that one of the questions of the day should be: Why haven't I been to the Internatinal Civil Rights Center & Museum? And it should be repeated at least once a month or 45 days. It's a shame the there are so many people in Greensboro that have not been to the museum! It was going to be a parking lot but the owner fought hard to turn it into what it is today! Regardless of how someone feels about them they should aleast let there children have the chance to see it. The youth of today have no idea of what we went through in the 1960's. Mike

Just Me

Renee. Such a timely comment. And that scripture never really meant anything to me until i started studying. Now I see how much we need "God's Kingdom". Its such a blessing to know that Kingdom will soon come, because only through it, will we have perfect peace. I long for that day...no earthly man can do it! Thanks for posting that!
