To "Tweet" or not to "Tweet"....

In this day and age of 'social networking', one has to be up on all of the latest technology. I'd like to think I'm one of those people. I mean, I AM a gadget freak. I'm one of those people who just HAS to have the newest, hottest phone, p.d.a. television, etc. When it comes to the social networking thing, that's where I fall behind. I'm probably the last in my group to have gotten a facebook page, and this "Twitter" thing? Oh, forget it!! I don't understand half of those terms! What is a "tweet"? and what the heck does "RT" mean??? I get emails all the time that "So and So wants to follow you on Twitter". I guess time will tell if I get sucked into the "Twitterverse" or not. I'm just saying.....
