Are You Rocky Mountain High Driving?

Scott Davidson, FlickrNow that marijuana is legalized in Colorado, drivers claim that cops in other states are pulling them over because of their Colorado license plates. They’re calling it license-plate profiling, and it could lead to all sorts of lawsuits.

It really shouldn’t matter if a car has Colorado plates or not. If it’s doing 20 miles per hour in the high speed lane and the back seat is overflowing with boxes of Twinkies and bags of Doritos, there’s a good chance the cops are going to find what they’re looking for.
